What is Pour Over?

We'd like to introduce you to the pour-over brewing method – one of our favorite ways to brew coffee.

Pour-over is a brewing method where you brew your coffee directly into a carafe. With pour-over, you get to experience the world of slow coffee in a whole new way. You can choose to brew with either a stainless steel filter or a paper filter, depending on your personal taste. When brewing with pour-over, you pour hot water over the ground coffee beans in circular motions, giving you full control over the brewing process.

At Lajmi Coffee Roasters, many of our pour-over brewers are made from heat-resistant glass and feature a silicone band or cork collar around the middle, making it easy to serve coffee directly from the brewer.

To brew coffee using the pour-over method, you will need a kettle or electric kettle, a dripper, paper filters, and a carafe/server. We also recommend using a gooseneck kettle, which gives you full control over the brewing process and makes it easy to pour water in circular motions.

We love the pour-over brewing method and believe it's a fantastic way to brew coffee that allows you to enjoy the taste and aroma of freshly brewed coffee in a whole new way. We hope you'll try it and discover the benefits of this wonderful brewing method.
